While some are planning summer holiday destinations, those of us with a focus on fashion are already anticipating next season's key themes. The anticipation of the upcoming spring/summer fashion is likely to uplift us during these persistent wet mornings, don't you think?

Crucially, the partnering item for these skirts is no longer a pretty cropped cardigan or a stunning vest. Instead, consider large shirts, masculine sweaters, bulky jackets... Sometimes even all three?

ELEVATED SPORTSWEAR

Those days are gone when sportswear was confined primarily to sporting activity. In what is likely somewhat of a carryover from the pandemic's lockdown style of daily loungewear, sporting staples have steadily been invading our everyday wardrobes of late - but never more so than for spring 2024. Hooded sweatshirts are now supersize and have taken the place of casual day dresses, zip-up track-tops in monochrome are the perfect paring item for your fave jeans, and cropped leggings - somewhat evocative of the 60s pedal pusher - are a bona genuine style to pair with heeled shoes.

Sheer Whites

Sheer whites have been in focus for morning and evening wear in a row. With a light and airy vibe, translucent white textiles are excellent for warmer days. To give the heavenly white an erotic twist, there is nothing more beautiful or breathable than white clothing, whether you're headed to a dinner date, a Sunday brunch, or a beach trip. Additionally, to not lack the fine details, transparent white decorated with embroidery, teamed with shorts and denim may be amusing for SS'24.

Maximalist Minimalism

Minimalism has evolved into a maximalist movement throughout time in 2024. The minimalistic design will focus on neutral hues and uncomplicated shapes, presenting slight changes with subdued tones during SS'24. This year, customers will showcase a smart and respectable appearance with surprising turns and twists of vivid and vibrant accessories and exaggerated dimensions.

METALLICS

Even though Christmas and the party season that goes along with it are over, there doesn't appear to be a good reason to pack up the clothing. Metallics will look great on you and your wardrobe for months to come since gold and silver hues are predicted to be among 2024's top color trends. Of course, this style lends itself most naturally to eveningwear.

BUSINESS CASUAL

For those suffering with their officewear appearance right now, why not join in on one of spring's greatest trends a bit early this year? A reasonably straightforward one to get your mind around, SS24's working style is all about loose tailoring - and we don't just mean a skirt that you can breathe in. This business casual is taking things to the extreme, with very large suits, jackets that fall to the top of your calf, and maybe even an elasticated waist on a Friday. Pair it with a slim-fit blouse or skinny knit to experiment with proportions.
