If you're buying skinny jeans for the first time, you'll love Levi's. It is pale white with slight fading and worn cloth.

In our prior denim test, we were excited to try the Everlane Way-High Jean, which we absolutely loved. Both pairs of jeans have the same high-waist structure, which we found to be extremely supportive for a wide range of body types, most likely due to the 2% elastane in their manufacturing. 

Everlane denim feels rather sturdy to the touch (rather than soft), but it can be machine washed for easy care. Furthermore, the stretch allows for considerable mobility. These slim jeans, in particular, have a timeless silhouette that would complement any ensemble. 

Abercrombie & Fitch High Rise Skinny Jeans

While we're talking about affordable and stylish thin jeans, we'd be negligent not to mention the Abercrombie & Fitch High Rise thin Jean. Kassab, in particular, enjoys these slim jeans. They're really economical and extremely comfy, which is the most crucial element when choosing a pair of jeans. 

The comfort comes from a blend of soft cotton and elastane, which allows for movement throughout the day (though customers note they're not as stretchy as other pairs). These have a classic slim jean design but can be adjusted in length from ultra short to extra-long to fit different heights. 

Good American Skinny Jeans

This slender jean comes highly recommended because we tested it with a variety of women ranging in age from 27 to 54, and it was everyone's favorite. What we like about jeans in general is that they are designed to fit your curves. Curves in the thighs and hips, in addition to the booty area. 

Three different women liked these jeans because of their soft feel, supportive fit, and stretch. Our testers were never concerned about the jeans slipping down and were comfortable wearing them all day, whether doing errands or sitting prone at a computer. They also enjoyed the wash and overall style of these thin jeans. 

Reformation Liza Ultra High Rise Straight Cropped Jeans

There's a reason why fashion experts say black is the most flattering color, and this guideline holds true for skinny jeans too. We were enamored with the black pair Meghan Markle wore on repeat on her royal tour.

While many jeans are available in black wash, we especially like this pair from Reformation. The Liza Ultra High Rise Straight cut Jeans are slightly looser around the leg than a regular skinny jean and cut above the ankle for a sleek, tailored look. And the pants do the work for you: the high-waisted style and back-stitching provide the impression of a modest lift for your booty.

EB Denim Unraveled Two Jean

The slim jean is kind of remixed with the EB Denim Unraveled Two Jean. It provides a similar straight leg look, but at the bottom, where the jean's hem splits in two, it has a whimsical unraveling that lets it float over boots, heels, or any other shoe you're wearing. 

Although they won't stretch as much as garments with spandex or elastane, these are nonetheless rather sturdy because they are made entirely of cotton. We offer the Paige Hoxton Ankle Jean in Fabel, a blue wash so dark we had to wonder if it was actually black, for people who enjoy dark washes. 

With a blend of soft cotton, polyester, and spandex, this denim is long-lasting, making the initial financial commitment worthwhile. It provides lots of comfort and flexibility for both sitting and standing. Though we wish the length was more adjustable to fit a range of heights, all things considered, this dark wash jean is wonderful.
